Chooz My Shooz!

Quick! I need some help!

Headed off to Nouveau Jersey this weekend for my cousin's wedding. Here's what I'm wearing to the rehearsal dinner.

(Yes, I cropped my head out of the picture. We had DefCon Level 4 bedhead this morning.)

Blue closed-toe or rose peep-toe? (You can make the pic larger if you click on it.) I just can't decide. I'll be wearing my waist-length black Boudicca jacket over the ensemble. I'm leaning toward the blue because I love them so, but I think the rose are more harmonious with the ensemble. What do you guys think? I've put a poll up at the top right corner of the blog.

Sheesh. I think the humidity from all the rain we've been having has worked its way into my brain -- I'm having a complete shoe-choosing vapor lock. Help!

I like the rose peep-toe if weather is permitting (a personal thing, I can't stand cold toes), but they're both quite nice.

I like the blue. They bring out the blue in the shirt and jazz up the outfit a bit - especially if you have a black jacket. Definitely more spring like and festive!

rose looks more beige, which is more French, imho.

I love the color of the blue and how it brings out the blue in the shirt, but I think the open style and straps of the peep toes make your legs look incredibly long. Too bad the rose peep-toes didn't come in blue!

Spy - go with the blue. The open toe is the 'expected' choice - always better to go with something with a bit of wit and that's the blue.

I like the blue better, they really pop.

I like the peep-toe--close enough to skin tone to keep those legs looking longer (helpful with a cropped pant)
But, the blue shoes are beautiful. . .and they pop. . .
Hmmmmm maybe the humidity in Tyler has made my decision making powers soggy as well

I vote rose...though I'm always a fan of a blue shoe, the rose *does* seem to flow better.

wait. It just occurs to me. Don't you have those rose Pradas IN BLUE?

I vote the blue. It's all about colour at the moment, not harmony. (Although I love the rose too.)

I'm voting rose, because the pants are cropped. I think the rose blends in with your skin and makes your legs look longer, while the blue lends itself to a somewhat more choppy look. I love the blue shoes, though and with regular length pants, I'd go with blue.

The peep-toes give more of a romantic vibe, and I agree with anonymous that they elongate your legs. Oh, and your post title totally reminds me of that Nu Shooz video with all the shooz. Wanted to send you a link, but I can't find it. Maybe I dreamt it.

I voted for rose. But my caveat would be - if you're dreading the do, it would be good to know that you would be wearing those blue shoes under the table. Ain't no way to be depressed in those shoes.

(Otherwise - if you're not going to need the mental health hit from the blue - I agree with the others about the beauty of the rose with the crops).

If I must vote, the blue.

However, why not wear one, take the other and change halfway through? That way you get to wear both shoes!

I like the cut of Christine's jib.
