English Tart Robbed My Closet!

Behold Daphne Guinness wearing what I'm pretty sure is my black velvet Alexander McQueen dress.

Now that is how you do an LBD.

Ordinarily, I'd be pretty cheesed about that (seriously, woman, you can buy whatever you want and you have to raid my paltry wardrobe???), but I adore Daphne and everything she does. She can do no wrong by my lights. She really is an inspiration and fashion role model to me, so I'm just tickled to know we have the same dress.

Plus, if I talk nice about her, maybe she'll lend me that gobsmacking necklace she's sporting. Dayum. I've never seen that at the Neiman Marcus outlet...

I have to admit, I'm mesmerized by her. Wouldn't you like to be at that dinner party?

Gods, she is amazing, isn't she? The hair, the makeup, and those jewels, and i'm sure they're all real. She does seem to be striking a pose with her Madonna arms, but anyone who can pull that off can have it. I can't think of anyone else like her.

I have to admit... I'd like her hairstylist's number, too.

it is well-established that Daphne Guinness is my everything, and Queen Isabella (may she rest in peace) would have been proud of her millinery.

Ah...another great shot of my style icon.
She's the whole package.
And for the record...enough with the straight shaggy hair already. Dress up affairs demand dress up hair.

Madame -- Or I'd like my own dinner parties to be equally chic...

Dana -- Nope, me either. She's a oner, she is.

Claudia -- no kidding. That is a commitment to fabulous, right there.

Plummie -- I think Daffs would love you, and I know Queen I looks down & smiles.

Belle -- hair doesn't get much more dressed up than that. The only times I regret my short 'do is when I think it might be nice to put it up all fancy-like for a nice event.

Well, I have to give the woman credit for having the neck muscles to hold up that chandelier that she's slung around her neck. Wow that looks painful.
