Actually, it hurts quite a bit...
Because I want them. A lot. But they are heinously, ridiculously, head-spinningly expensive and I'm not going to have them. They cost what a good chunk of my much hoped-for trip across the pond this spring would cost, and I'm not prepared to sacrifice that.
There are a lot of over-the-knee boots going on this fall & winter. They started popping up last year and I really like the look. I'm not sure, however, that I'll be able to work them. I worry about my big ol' runner's thighs not fitting into them. I think that means that I'm going to have to do some research. The trying-on kind of research. And we know how much I just hate that...

Those are nice boots. Maybe a little too *Pretty Woman*. The picture is a bit odd, no? I think because it shows just one leg ...kind of reminds me of the "major prize" Leg Lamp in *A Christmas Story*

I don't know, I like them academically but thigh-high boots seem like a much younger woman's game. They lack...gravitas. I don't have your gams (curses) but I'd feel a more than a little muttony in them at 30.
Highly interesting. Queen Michelle got hers from Topshop, where they are still available at a much more reasonable price. But we need to see what you'd do with them. Outfits, please.
