Real Style

We lost Molly Ivins yesterday. She had a sharp tongue, a fiery spirit, and an immense and fearless heart. She was usually the smartest person in the room. She made me proud to tell people I was from Texas. She was a warrior and a truth-teller, and the world is a poorer place without her.

That, my friends, is the kind of style that lives forever.

We'll miss you, Molly.

Miss Molly truly was a woman of style, substance, and grace. Her wit cut to the heart of the pomposity, willful ignorance, and snobbery that bedevils our society. RIP, Molly. You will be missed.
